Calum’s academic background is as impressive as his creative output. He holds an MA in Classical and Contemporary Text (Directing) from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a First-Class BA (Hons) in Creative Writing from Stirling University. This blend of directing expertise and literary skill makes him a true all-rounder, capable of crafting and delivering compelling theatre that leaves a lasting impact.

His impressive portfolio spans a range of productions, from children’s touring shows to devised theatre projects with students and emerging performers. Standout credits include The Play Play and Cinderella with Hopscotch Theatre, Playthrough and Quietus for A Play, A Pie and A Pint, and Donald and Benoit at Pitlochry Festival Theatre. Each production reflects his knack for blending creativity with professionalism.
