The Most Difficult Tongue Twisters

Only a shorty today…

In class, we like to test our articulation with tongue twisters, it keeps us on our toes.   Here are a few of the most difficult tongue twisters that I’ve discovered:

  • The Leith Police Dismisseth Us

  • The sixth sick sheikh’s sixth sheep’s sick (World Record Holder for Most Difficult Tongue Twister)

  • The seething sea ceaseth and thus the seething sea sufficeth us

  • Red Leather, Yellow Leather, Good Blood, Bad Blood, Red Lorry, Yellow Lorry, Good Blood, Bad Blood.

Practice helps to keep up articulate and on top of our game, it’s easy to become tongue tied and trip over the words. By training the tongue to articulate difficult sentences, we can help prepare to avoid that problem.

Make sure that you practice daily and you will improve. Remember, the harder you struggle with focused practice, the better you get.
