One Year Acting Courses in the UK

If you’re looking for 1-year acting courses in the UK, a lot of the quality ones are actually postgraduate courses. But here's six that I would consider: 

In no particular order:

ONE: RSAMD do an MA in Acting in Classical and Contemporary Texts. Sounds like an exciting course with opportunities at the Globe in London and exciting new contemporary work written for the course by some of Scotland’s top writers. It’s pricey, but the quality’s there.

TWO: Screen Acting Course at Central School of Speech and Drama.

THREE: Highly regarded acting course by postgrad dip or MA course at the Royal Welsh College

FOUR: Expensive but STILL a very good reputation, Mountview do a 1 year acting course.

FIVE: I’m putting this because it’s so unusual. Manchester Met’s Theatre School does a one year MA course in Acting based entirely in Poland. For a completely different perspective, this is included.

SIX: Finally, I'd be remiss not to include our own one year acting course -  Professional Diploma in Stage and Screen Acting course. You can find out more about it here. There's over 40 public performances, 3 professional films, a qualified stage combat qualification and the diploma is officially recognised SQA qualification too.
