"Despite having a good degree and a secure job, The Studio gave me the confidence, the skills and the belief to strike out as an actor. I now have a great agent in London, and am auditioning every week." Tharan Sivapatham
After a two-years stint as a professional stand-up comedian, Tharan turned his focus to acting. During his training at Acting Coach Scotland, he has appeared in numerous short films and theatre productions, most notably the BAFTA New Talent award winning sketch show Fistpunch by Blackeye Productions, Concrete and Flowers by Sunny & Clyde Productions, hit Edinburgh Fringe show X and Y by Black Dingo Productions and Stranger in Nusquamland by Short Play Theatre Glasgow.
He recently appeared in a commercial for the RBS Six Nations, played the lead in Ankur Production's new film Aaqil and just signed a contract for a yet to be announced feature film.
Tharan is represented by Longrun Artistes London.
