That Kids Name Was Moe Greene - Lee Strasberg Acting

That Kid's Name Was Moe Greene

If you've been reading this blog for a while, you might know that for lots of reasons, I'm not a fan of The Method. I don't doubt the success of those that call themselves Method actors. I just don't believe it's healthy, or perhaps necessary - but hey, I'm just an acting coach in Scotland, what do I know?

But despite my dislike. This is still one of my favourite scenes in movie history. Maybe because it's an acting teacher and student acting together. But I like how simple this scene is. Very simple. As a monologue, Strasberg controls his story and the listener perfectly. And I'd like to give you the opportunity to benefit from this wonderful moment.
