Intensive Weekend and Weeknight Acting Workshops in Glasgow
During November and December each year, Acting Coach Scotland holds several intensive acting workshops in Glasgow. These intensive weekend and weeknight acting courses are designed for those that want to accelerate their actor training or cannot commit to a weekly class.
Our students and private clients work all over the world in film, theatre and television. Some of them are household names, others are just beginning the long journey to success in their acting career.
We can uncover your potential. People laugh when you say you want to be an actor, but trust us, they soon change their tune when you start getting work.
Our students work regularly in film, theatre and television. Even some of the beginners. But whether you're interested in an acting career, raising your confidence, meeting new people, or a creative experience, our intensive weekend and weeknight acting classes are the place to start.
These Step 1 Intensive Weekend and Weeknight Classes include: Acting Technique, Improvisation, Warm Up Techniques, Scene Study Skills, Performance Technique and Fundamental Performance Psychology.
The classes are taught by Tharan Sivapatham, a professional actor and graduate of the Studio's Part-Time STEPS Acting Programme.
Take these intensive weekend/weeknight acting classes as a stand alone experience or use them to pick off your participation in our part-time STEPS Training Programme.
The STEPS Training Programme is our part-time professional actor training programme. Each step builds on the last as different coaches with different specialities introduce you to the acting techniques that have made our clients successful.
Steps include Fundamentals of Acting, Rehearsal Technique, Scene Study, Comedic and Dramatic Improvisation, Monologue Work, Acting for Camera, Voice and Accent work.
This year, our Intensive Weekend is being held on 26th & 27th November. Our Intensive Week of Evenings (Mon-Thurs) is 28th November to 1st December.
There's really nothing like getting a taste of professional acting, taught by working industry professionals in a deeply immersive weekend or weeknights. You can DOWNLOAD a PDF brochure for our Part-Time Acting Classes right here now.
